Navigating the Employer Dashboard

Written by Parker Dewey | Jul 13, 2026 1:50:59 AM

Once you have posted your first Micro-Internship, you will see the employer dashboard whenever you log into Parker Dewey.  The dashboard can help you stay organized and view all of the Micro-Internship projects you have posted. Check out the video below to preview what you will find on your dashboard.

In the following article you will find information about the different parts of the employer dashboard:

Post a Micro-Internship

You have three options for posting a Micro-Internship from your Parker Dewey employer dashboard:

  • Project Builder

  • Custom Project
  • Project Library

To learn more about these options for posting a Micro-Internship, click here.

After posting a project, your first project and all subsequent Micro-Internships will appear in one of the following sections of your dashboard.

No matter which option you select when posting your project, when you are creating your Micro-Internship, you have option to save the project as a "Draft."  A Draft Project is accessible to you from your Parker Dewey dashboard and can be updated and posted at any time.

A Draft Project cannot be seen by any students.  In order for your project to receive applicants, it must be posted.  To post your project, click on the Micro-Internship from your dashboard, select Actions, and then select Post Now.

Posted Project

A "Posted Project" is able to receive applicants from Micro-Interns, but you have not selected an applicant yet.  Once the Micro-Internship has been posted, you will receive information from Parker Dewey about how to select an applicant.  You are encouraged to adjust your project's start/end dates as needed if you need to delay the kickoff of your project.

If you are reviewing applicants and wish to no longer receive additional applicants, you can opt to pause any new students from applying.

Click here for more information about how to edit your Micro-Internship posting.

Once at least one Micro-Intern has been selected for the project, the posting will be listed under "In Progress."  If a project is canceled, it will be moved to "Inactive Projects."

In Progress

A project that is "In Progress" has at least one Micro-Intern who has been selected for the project.  It will remain in this category until all applicants or the project itself have been marked as complete.

Click here for more information on how to complete a project.

If the project is canceled, it will be moved to "Inactive Projects."

Awaiting Feedback

A project that is listed as "Awaiting Feedback" means that at least one Micro-Intern who was selected for the project has not received feedback for that project.  If you had multiple Micro-Interns who completed the project, the Micro-Internship will be listed under "Awaiting Feedback" until all Micro-Interns have received feedback.

Click here for more information on how to give a Micro-Intern feedback.

Inactive Projects

There are several reasons why a project is listed under "Inactive Projects:"

  1. The project was completed and all students have received feedback.  These projects will have "Completed" listed in the Status column.
  2. The project was canceled.  These projects will have "Canceled" listed in the Status column.

To view an inactive project, click on View next to the project's name.  Under Actions, you can opt to Duplicate or Repost an inactive project at any time.
