Parker Dewey offers a variety of ways to connect directly with our team. We are here to help you at every step of the process: from creating your account to adding a Micro-Internship to your resume and everything in between.
In this article, you will learn about how to connect with the Parker Dewey team:
Each month, Parker Dewey hosts a webinar for students, recent graduates, and anyone else who is interested in learning more about applying for and completing Parker Dewey Micro-Internships. This webinar generally lasts about 45 minutes and is recorded in case you are not available to attend it "live."
To join a live session, you should submit your information on the registration form. You will receive an email with information about how to log into the webinar which is hosted on Zoom. The webinar registration page also contains links to the webinar recording and slides so you can access this information right away if you wish.
Parker Dewey also hosts office hours on a monthly basis. This is an opportunity for anyone who is interested in hearing answers to questions about Micro-Internships directly from the Parker Dewey team. In this session, Parker Dewey staff will answer whatever questions that attendees have which may include:
These sessions are not recorded so that attendees can feel free to ask whatever questions they wish. These sessions are also conducted in a drop-in basis so if you are unable to attend until part-way through the session, you can still join the meeting whenever you are available.
These sessions are led by the Parker Dewey Partnership Team all of whom have Career Services experience prior to working at Parker Dewey. The session is focused on helping you prepare for success with Parker Dewey Micro-Internship opportunities. If you have other career-related questions, you should visit your school's career center or alumni resources website.
You can find the link to join the upcoming session on the office hour website. You can also see the dates for upcoming office hour sessions if the next session does not fit your schedule.
Many employers may not be familiar with Micro-Internships. In the "Creating Your Own Opportunities" webinar, you will learn various techniques in how you can professionally approach a contact at a company that interests you and encourage them to hire you for a paid Micro-Internship.
This session is led by the Parker Dewey Partnership Team and conducted several times each year. You can see the next time that the session will be available on the webinar registration page. To join the "live" session, you should complete the registration form, and the details about how to log into the webinar will be sent to you via email. The webinar registration page also contains links to the webinar recording and slides so you can access this information right away if you wish.
